Dr. Jeffrey Asks some important questions of interest to Portland residents - Chiropractor Portland Dr. Jeffrey Asks...

What does a chiropractic adjustment do?
Chiropractic adjustments give your spine a little "nudge" at the right place, right time and the right direction so your body can use that energy to "right" itself. With a schedule of consistent chiropractic visits, a new, healthier spinal pattern emerges.
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.

Post graduation, she worked as a technician at the University of Massachusetts doing Molecular Biology Research on Breast Cancer genes. Dr. Morrisroe then attended the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL on a scholarship. The chiropractic program is an intensive 5 year program that is condensed into 3.5 years by working though the summers.

In 2007, she also became APEX certified, an individualized nutritional program to help a client reach their weight loss or muscle building goals.

Dr. Morrisroe recently passed the exam for her CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician).  This additional education enhanced her knowledge of sports related injuries.  She is also working towards her Diplomate in Nutrition.  This is an additional 300 hours dedicated to different aspects of nutrition and health.  Through these additional certifications, Dr. Morrisroe is able to efficiently and effectively treat a wide variety of ailments and complaints.
